Gender is a concept that deals with the roles, and relationships between men and women, that are determined by the social, political and economic factors and not by biology. Cavish belies that reduction of gender imbalances is critical for development. We are struggling for the creation of gender equity and improvement in the socio-economic and legal status of women. Awareness raining the gender issues amongst women and other development actors in Pakistan will be an important part of our work.
Objectives

* To ensure women participation in decision making in Cavish program areas
* To enhance / develop understanding of gender issues among men in Cavish program areas
