Volunteers have been pouring into the Common Ground clinic - so many, in fact, that the clinic is running out of space to put them all. In addition to the main clinic in Algiers, there is now a satellite clinic in the Upper 9th Ward, plus several weekly mobile clinics.
For some time now, CG has been asking prospective volunteers to contact the clinic before showing up. This is now more important than ever. The main clinic will soon have to move to a new space, and specific sorts of vounteers are needed to carry out our important work.
CG can also use support volunteers (who don't need medical training) for tasks like kitchen work, housekeeping, and driving (with their own cars or trucks).
