Algiers & Isaac

Here on Teche Street in Algiers Riverview, CGHC was very fortunate with regard to the impacts of Hurricane Isaac. We never lost power at the clinic, so we were able to re-open quickly and are operating on our usual schedule, seeing patients by appointment, Monday through Thursday. Isaac has had an economic impact on our patient community, however, directly affecting access to food and medication for many people. Donations of supplies and funds are being collected on our behalf through InterOccupy, and any support you are able to give is appreciated.

9/5/12: Although their area was not generally flooded with Hurricane Isaac, they had flooding because of the heavy rain and lost their refrigerator along with refrigerated meds. lpar
