Many individuals and companies are stepping up in commendable ways to help our families, friends and neighbors in Jackson County. The Bacot/ McCarty Foundation has set up the "Hurricane Relief - Rebuild
Jackson County Fund". An account at the Merchants & Marine Bank has been set up to serve as the Jackson County clearinghouse for corporations, organizations, and individuals to donate desperately needed money to the hundreds of thousands of Jackson County residents who are recovering from the devastation of Hurricane
Katrina.
All contributions to the "Hurricane Relief - Rebuild Jackson County Fund" are taxdeductible, 501(c)(3) charitable donations.
