How much will the room and board plan cost per person?
The cost is $10/person per day. Example. You have a total of 12 people coming for 3 days – your cost would be $10x12x3 = $360
We prefer that your sponsoring church issue one check for
all members of your group. If this is not possible we would
like to encourage you to pay by personal check instead of
cash. All checks should be made payable to First Baptist
Church Bay St. Louis– please note “Room and Board” on the
memo line.
You may be wondering why we have to charge at all. Honestly,
we hate to have to charge your team anything. The amount we
are asking for is only to cover what we are being charged for
food. We have setup an account with a food service company and
were told that our average cost would be $10 per person per day.
If by chance, there is any amount left over, the amount will be
used to offset the other additional costs of housing volunteers.
We are using all available space in order to house as many
volunteers as possible. Due to space limitations and separate
accommodations for men and women, we ask that each person bring
their own twin size air mattress or cot. (Please no double or
queen sizes) As mentioned above men and women will have separate
sleeping areas unless limited space necessitates a change.
We have twin sized bunks beds and seperate accomodations for men
and women. We ask that you bring you own pillows and sheets or
sleeping bag.
